Welcome

You've entered a source of potentials.
Potential to find resources for innovation.
Potential for increased viability as resource.
Potential for keeping outsource contracts in state.

To find innovation resources, you'll focus on Search.  To offer resources, you'll Register your Membership.  In either case, click on Innovation to add our definitions and perspectives to your own.

A brief overview follows.  Please mention InnoSearch to your colleagues.

InnoSearchTM Colorado is a searchable directory
of private and public resources for innovation.

We connect the two sides of Colorado outsource contracts.
Outsourcers describe needs.  Providers describe capabilities.

We enable instate business opportunities through keyword matchmaking.
We catalyze Colorado's Community of Innovation through interactions between outsourcers, providers, and our statewide innovation infrastructure.  (Associations, universities, colleges, incubators, federal labs, SBDCs, Manufacturing Extension Centers, media, investors, sources of IP, and elements of state and local government)

Innovation begins with opportunities, then drives entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, corporate profits, and economic health.  Innovation isn't a choice, but a mandate for competitiveness.

If you innovate, you change the world, one idea at a time.

Innovation isn't easy.  Few companies avoid outsourcing.  The rest must find a range of contractors and service providers.  Outsourcing saves money, yet only if the right resources can be developed at the right time.

As an outsourcer, how much does your business spend on recruiting providers?

Outsourcing creates opportunities, yet providers need maximum visibility at precisely the time that outsourcers begin their search

As a provider, how much does your business spend on opportunity generation?

Colorado hosts a powerful innovation infrastructure:  150 professional associations, 10 business incubators, 40 universities and colleges, 10 federal laboratories, and dozens of media, and relevant federal, state, and local government entities.

When did you last leverage the talent and facilities of non-traditional resources?

Colorado Innovation Community:  Together, we can catalyze a strong, coherent, self-reinforcing community of innovation in Colorado.  Key players include:

Searchers:  Any business needing innovation resources for any reason.  No membership required.  No limits.  No fees.

Outsourcers:  For and not-for-profit innovation-based businesses in industry, government, education, the military, and/or the arts.  In industry, from one-person company to Fortune 50. Most are searchers.  Some are providers.  Many will join InnoSearch in demonstration of their commitment to the Colorado Innovation Community.  InnoSearch membership @ $200/y.

Providers:  Colorado-based businesses of any size supporting innovation and seeking revenues in exchange for their products, services, consulting, recruiting, technologies, and/or training in over 100 disciplines from visioning to manufacturing to market launch.   Most are also searchers.  InnoSearch membership @ $200/y delivers visibility and branding via the InnoSearch Directory.

Infrastructure:  The underlying fabric of the Community.  These memberships are free.

Potential New Arrivals:  Firms and individuals considering moves to Colorado.

Imagine the implied community.  Diverse in many dimensions, yet all connected to the theme of innovation.  Since every business in Colorado has easy access, opportunities can open and be met entirely within that statewide network.

Searchers and providers both benefit from Instate Outsourcing.  Each then works to turn contacts into contracts delivering finished projects, stronger brand equity, and relationships for the future.

Fees:  $200/y for Outsourcers and Providers.  All others free.

Cash Donations to Non-Profits:  Innovation related associations, business incubators, and foundations can collaborate with InnoSearch to serve the innovation community.  Affiliate memberships are free.  When a business registers with InnoSearch through an affiliate, InnoSearch will donate $50 per year to the affiliate for as long as that business remains a paying member.  See the Affiliate Program for details.

Examples:

10 InnoSearch members referred in year 1 by a particular affiliate.  Donation at $50 each = $500.

10 members/y with all renewing.  In year 4, 40 members.  Donation = $2,000.

50 members/y all renewing.  $2,500 in year 1.  $5,000 in year 2.  $10,000 in year 4.

Your InnoSearch membership can do double duty.  You gain new opportunities and benefits for your business, and you can help to support your chosen association or incubator.

Colorado Innovation Summits:  Summits held in '03 and '04 drew speakers of national renown (e.g., Marisa Mayer making Google's first speech in Colorado).  InnoSearch will sponsor new conferences specifically to enable connections among elements of the Colorado Innovation Community.

We envision growing the economic health of Colorado through innovation and community.  To populate such a vision with practical potentials will take rich and diverse collaborations.  We look forward to working with you.

Best wishes for your business.

PS:  Please tell your colleagues about InnoSearch Colorado, and please tell your associations about our Affiliate Program.
